We, at HRBC Insurance, share an emphasis of concern and caution as to not spread COVID-19 to our beloved seniors. To help play our part, we have come up with a few ways to continue educating our new and existing clients about their Medicare insurance options, how to enroll into Medicare, and our customer service element which goes as far as connecting them with local help to better overcome this pandemic. 1. Apply for Medicare Online
With many of the social security offices closing their doors, applying for Medicare may seem a bit more difficult. Wait times have always been rather lengthy, both in person and on the phone. But with the recent office closures and mandates of self-quarantines, we can assume the hold time on the phone will increase exponentially. As a solution, we would like to emphasize that we are happy to assist with enrolling into Medicare via their online resources with the following methods:
- Zoom (Video) call
- Facetime call
- Telephone call
We strongly recommend electing to schedule a Zoom (virtual in-home appointment) call with us. With Zoom, we can share our screen to provide visual explanations of the process as well as have an active face-to-face conversation during this time that in-person contact is strongly discouraged. Many seniors are accustomed to attending in-person seminars to get information and support for Medicare.
